We have just finished a wonderful tour of the Central Higlands with fantastic Mr Davis.
Mr Davis is very knowledgeable, funny and knows where all the best local food is!
This is the best way to see and experience the real vietnam - friendly locals, ethnic minority groups and beautiful scenery.
I highly recommend Mr Davis and his team (we also met Du on the road who was great). Great bikes and helmets, safe driving and good hotels. He was also flexible, accommodating our requests to go to local markets etc.
Mr Davis even went out of his way to spend 2 hrs on the day before our tour to train us on using bikes with gears as we were not very confident.
Already thinking of where we will go next time we visit Vietnam.
Best part of our 3 week holiday in Vietnam
Myself and 8 friends decided to bike from Hoi An to Hue after spending a great deal of time researching companies and we certainly weren't disappointed.
Our tour guide was friendly and never hurried us, we always went at our own pace whether that be on the motorbikes themselves or when we stopped for a rest, to take pictures or to eat. We felt extremely comfortable and safe the full way, the tour guide rides at the front but is always mindful of where everyone else is.
The views along the way are superb and its one of the best days I've had in 2 months of travelling SE Asia. An absolute must do, even it you haven't rode a motorbike before.
Thanks so much Viet,You look at his website :www.vietnamoriginaleasyrider.com
It started with a one day trip around DaLat. Finally I travelled with Viet for 18 days from DaLat to HaNoi. This was just an awesome trip! Viet drove me safely 3500 km trough breathtaking landscapes and on spectacular mountain passes (even on unsealed roads...). We even were in so remote areas, where children were afraid to see a foreigner and jumped into the bush. We saw so many people from different ethnic groups wearing beautiful dresses and we had a lot of great experiences with these people. There is no better way to explore the beauty of Vietnam and to learn more about the people, the country and the history. Viet is a great tour guide and a very skilled driver (and he is always in good humour!). I was very lucky to do this amazing trip off the beaten track with him! I enjoyed every single day of this very unique trip. Many thanks again for this unforgettable experience!!!

My boyfriend and I are travelling around SE Asia. I was a bit apprehensive about getting on a motorbike, but what a fantastic time we had! Our drivers Tony and Hung picked us up from Hoi An from there we drove up the coast through Da Nang to the Hoi Van Pass which is spectacular! We also visited Elephant falls, a traditional fishing village and amazing views of rice paddies and little villages. They dropped us at our hotel in Hue and we enjoyed it so much that we arranged for them to take us on a day trip around Hue, which was brilliant and we got to see hidden gems you just wouldn't see on a boring tour bus. We saw places only the locals would know!
These guys were professional, spoke good English, friendly, trustworthy (they looked after our luggage and us with care and attention), ensured we went to local places for food and paid local prices. This was a fantastic experience that we will always remember and made Vietnam even more special. Do it!
I and my girlfriend have just finished a tour with Mr Viet and Chilli as our guides.
We chose them as the TA rating was top for Easy Riders in Da Lat and weren't disappointed - their tag line is 'Explore the real Vietnam' and that’s exactly what they delivered.
The first half day was the only time we were around other tourists and after that it was us and the open road! Stopping frequently for Viet or Mr Chilli to show us new things and tell us about the local culture.
Definitely ask for Viet as a guide, he's really chatty (in perfect English), always smiling and is very knowledgable.
Thanks again Mr Viet & Chilli!
Had a wonderful 4 day trip with Viet from Dalat to Nhatrang through the jungle roads.I would like to say " wonderful Vietnam "!!!.Viet was very good at explaining everything along the way and speaks good English. The food he got for me was delicious and very filling. He was also able to get us discounts at many locations along the way
and the stay in the longhouse was excellent.Viet's comedy is a much needed attribute in a giude,he was making jokes the whole way.Long story short,he's very good and useful.viet's website :vietnamoriginaleasyrider.com

How can I convince you - within the text of the this recommendation - that you deserve the vietnamoriginaleasyrider? We as a family with two children of 6 and 10 took the 3day tour from Dalat to Nha Trang. You feel like a guest of the easyriders and the visiting sites. You will be stopping by all kinds of temples, waterfalls, domestic (like brewing ricewine, visiting a minority village) and professional activities (like woodcarving, silkfactory, flower and coffee plantation), not as one of the tourists out of a bus. You get information of the riders on the history, landscape, etc.. And through the one-on-one contact with the rider you will feel free to talk about nearly everything without feeling that you have to hurry to the next activity; it's your trip and pace. We took the trip with Thiet Chau, Nam, Paul Thranh and Lam and the best recommendation is; We would certainly do it again! Stijn, Karen, Bart & Linde van Boxmeer The Hague, the Nethlands
I did the Easy Rider Tour from Dalat to Nha Trang with Viet. It was an amazing experience. We made a lot of stops and Viet explained a lot about local farming products and the life of the local people. You can ask him anything. I also enjoyed the food we had on our trip and hanging out in a hammock from time to time. He also listens to what you want to do so he showed me beautiful spots in the nature. He can also help you to arrange bus tickets and a hotel in Nha Trang for the next step of your trip. It was probably the best experience I have had in South East Asia.
If you want to do the trip with him, here is his contact. Phone: +84 01679558236, E-mail: email@example.com or website:vietnamoriginaleasyrider.com
Thanks so much Viet
Riding with the vietnamoriginaleasyrider in general, and with Chilli in particular, was one of the smartest decisions I ever made. After a daytrip “test”, I took three days from Dalat to Nha Trang, and enjoyed every second. Not only was Chilli a consummate professional, who made even a solo female traveller afraid of motorcycles completely comfortable, but his general knowledge is outstanding. He gave me specifics of coffee harvests, silk production, tea growing, silk worm husbandry, rubber and cocoa cultivation and so much more, in such detail that even this fulltime journalist was satisfied – not to say overwhelmed. For me, taking this trip transformed Vietnam from just another pretty country I’d like to visit again someday, to a truly special place, to which I will definitely return – and soon. I had worked out my next visit after only one day on the bike, and it includes an eight-day trip with vietnamoriginaleasyrider. I can only hope Chilli is available again. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough.

I spent all together 10 days with my Easy Rider Viet. After having the biggest regrets about not continuing my first trip (3 days, Central Highlands) I rang Viet and we agreed on another 7 day trip through the Mekong Delta. These 2 trips were honestly the best travel experiences I've had so far and I've travelled quite a bit.
Viet is such a kind, caring and honest person. I think he is a very good travel partner. During our trips I became good friends with him and we shared heaps of laughs. Only being 29 years old and travelling by myself you're always a bit worried about your safety but I actually felt safer with Viet as he cared about me like a younger sister. I totally trust him. He always asked whether his plans were alright with me, whether the accommodation was ok, if I'd slept well and waited for my bus with me after our first trip (other Easy Riders on the same route didn't do that!)
Going on tour with Viet means meeting lots of local and ethnic minority people and actually being able to have conversations with them as Viet acts as a translator. Furthermore, you eat the very local and traditional food (it's astonishing how delicious frog can be!!) without having to worry about it, as Viet knows exactly what's safe for tourists to eat and what is not. I also enjoyed all the little stops along the way whether it was having one of the tasty Vietnamese coffees, watching people on the field, watching people how they make stuff like chop sticks, coconut candy or pots. With his 15 years experience as an Easy Rider, Viet has a broad knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese history, culture, the different religions, the nature, ethnic minority groups, vietnamese food and the way of life. He even taught me a bit of Vietnamese language and the languages of the minority people and they were so happy and surprised that I would speak to them in their language.
My highlights of the tour were definitely staying with Viet's uncle and his family in the Mekong Delta. The family welcomed me very nicely and showed me their way of life. We had a fantastic dinner together, the little boy took me around in the boat, we drank lots of rice wine, sang traditional songs, enjoyed each others company. An experience of a lifetime!
On my first trip we also spent one afternoon with an ethnic minority family, friends of Viet, and ate and drank there, as well. Again, the family was just so lovely. I never felt uncomfortable in any way! We also met H'mong children which were very curious about me. Seeing all these smiles just made me so happy. These people are truly amazing.
Viet is a very safe driver. He gave me the perfect fitting helmet and off we went. It took me about 10 mins of getting used to being on the back of the bike but after that I just enjoyed the freedom and the wind. So much different to the crowded and uncomfortable buses here in Vietnam! Although, your bum hurts a bit, of course. The motorbike and your "private guide" also make getting 'off-the-beaten track' happen. I was often the only Westerner around and the Vietnamese would stare at me and wave and shout "hello" excitedly.
Don't even think about skipping this unique experience. You'll regret it like I did in the beginning! I also think Viet is the greatest driver, teacher, helping hand and above all friend. You can reach him on his phone under 01679558236 or contact at vietnamoriginaleasyrider.com
trust me - it is worth every single cent!
We met two travellers who recommended vietnamoriginaleasyrider .com, so we decided to take a three day trip with him and Hugo from Dalat to Nha Trang.
It was simply amazing, we saw a lot of interesstig places and our riders told us a lot about Vietnamese history, cultures and economy.
Sometimes we stopped somewhere and couldn't imagine the interesting story and view of the place. Jean and Hugo drove really safe and did everything to make us feel comfortable. We loved the trip, thank you so much guys!
P.s. The hotel they recommended for us at the end of the trip in Nha Trang was also really nice and cheap.
I spent 4 days on the back of Mr Uyen's motorbike travelling from Da Nang to Phong Nha cave.
The entire time I felt 100% comfortable and safe on the bike. We visited lots of small villages and travelled along backroads that I never would have got to see if I had been on a bus or train!
Lots of stops along the way to take photos, look at the view, talk to locals, see interesting farms or factories or sites.
Mr Uyen was very knowledgeable about Vietnam and the farms, history and people. I found it amazingly interesting talking with him about Vietnam.
I would absolutely recommend Mr Uyen's tours to anyone.
I really can't speak highly enough of this tour, Mr Viet and his easy rider team. We had a group of 5 people that all went as passengers on the bikes. We have been travelling around SE Asia for 8 weeks and it is still the highlight of the trip. We were brought well of the beaten tourist track and learned so much about the real Vietnam, its history and culture. We saw such amazing sights and had loads of beautiful and cheap Vietnamese food. Nobody should come to Vietnam without doing some type of easy rider tour.you will go via vietnaoriginaleasyrider.com
When I stayed on China Beach I've seen many travelers coming with motorbike guide. Most of them endorsed the name as "Easy Rider" but from what I learn when I came to Dalat is that most of these guides will take that name. I can't tell much about the impostors but the actual vietnamoriginaleasyrider.com (make sure you find the right one) was probably my best experience in South East Asia.
Viet, an experienced guide rode my along the Highland to discover the other side of the Vietnamese culture; the one that you'll never see along the tourist track. We visited minority villages and some that have never seen a white face in their life. Viet will show you also all the important sport related to the War on the road. He knows quite a lot about the nature and everything that grows in Vietnam.
Unless you have your own motorbike, you know all the area and you speak fluent Vietnamese you just can't pretend seeing the real Vietnam if you skip an Easy Rider tour.
Thanks so much Viet
Viet was recommended by our hotel to give us a one-day motorcycle tour of Dalat. He was joined by Khuong, another experienced guide, as we needed two drivers for our trip. We had so much fun and learned so much from our one-day trip. It was the best part of our Vietnam trip and we only wish that we had more time to do a longer tour further North.
Viet and Khuong speak excellent English, and know a lot about the area and the people that live here. We were interested in the all of the places we stopped and Viet and Khuong did a great job explaining about everything and answering our questions. We were concerned that the tour might just stop at touristy sites that were little more than a gift shop, but most of the places weren't even selling anything to tourists, and we were almost always the only people there, so we didn't feel like we were part of a cookie-cutter tour.
We had excellent and very cheap local food for lunch, at a place we wouldn't have been able to find or easily order at by ourselves.
We truly enjoyed our tour and plan to come back to Dalat again, so we can go on a longer tour with either Viet or Khuong, and see more of the beautiful Vietnam Central Highlands.
We highly recommend booking with Viet or Khuong, they are both licensed Vietnam tour guides (unlike a lot of the riders in Dalat), and we would book again with them for sure. You can reach Viet at vietnamoriginaleasurider.com or company at 34 Co Loa Street,Dalat
Thank you very much Viet! or should i say cam on?
we've had a great if not too short experience seeing the real side of VietNam.
Viet and Dung were both very professional and expert riders as well as top guys and good company on the bikes and for meals.I think Viet is a budding comedian!
English was great and we learned a lot about this beauful country over a few beers.
Hope to see these two again in the future

Hi, my boyfriend and I went on a 4D3N tour with the vietnam easy rider from Nha Trang to Bao Loc (where we then took a bus to Ho Chi Minh). It's difficult to put into words what an unbelievable experience this was but ill do my best. First and foremost the office was really accommodating in fixing an itinerary suitable for us. We then net our guides Davis and Hung who picked us up at the door of our hotel, looked after our bags for the 4 days, had great English, always willing to help in any way they could from providing wet gear when it rained to giving us valuable insights into Vietnam culture and history to making sure we always had full bellies at cheap local prices. We saw and experienced so many wonderful things it is hard to remember them all but ill try! We saw 3 breathtaking waterfalls, beautiful pagodas, spectacular views of little cities, valleys and countryside, met lots of minority families and saw all the different characteristics and practices that made their tribes unique from another, rode an elephant who was treated with super care through a fabulous lake, saw processes of silk making, coffee and flower plantations, rice noodles, green tea, brick making, vegetable farming, rice wine production, scarf making, rice harvesting in the Paddy fields, saw the Ho Chi Minh trail and war memorials, Cambodian border, latex being extracted from rubber trees, Dalat market, cable cars over Dalat and much much more. Michael and Mui were safe and responsible drivers and I never felt unsafe even though I had ever only been on a motorbike once before. We stayed in clean hotels with all you could ask for including tv, hot showers and most importantly provided a peaceful nights sleep after so much activity (trust me you will need this!). In addition M and M went out of their way by doing an extra 30km at the end of a tour to catch up with a bus that had already left Just so we would not have to wait 2 hrs for the next bus! They really could not have been more thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable about Vietnam an we are truly grateful to them both for providing us with an experience we will never forget and photos that will always bring back the wonderful memories of the trip. I would highly recommend the vietnamoriginaleasyrider.com and especially Davis and Hung!
This is my firts time in Vietnam, and I arrived in Dalat straight from Saigon without knowing anything about the place, except the Easy riders had a good reputation. Unfortunately, it was raining, and I thought no way was I going to ride around on a motorbkie under that rain. Still, I stopped by their office just to check out what they had to offer. They were smart enough to convince me to take a day tour, and I didn't regret a minute of it. Not only did it stop raining, but Chilli, my guide, is an extremely nice guy who had a lot to say about every place he took me, be it a coffee plantation, silk factory, waterfall, moutaineer village, or landscapes marked by history. It's as if you were driving, because you can stop anywhere you want to take a picture or enjoy the view, except you never get lost, and you learn stuff you would never have learned by yourself. The Easy riders have various formulas for up to 5 days, and if I could, I would stay as long as possible. Very warmly recommended.

We did a 3days, 2nights tour from Dalat to Nga Trang with Peter & Lan and we are absolutely grateful that we had those two guys as our drivers: they are very funny, speak good English, took us to some locals that even they haven't met before and helped us a lot with booking our ongoing trip. They took us to farms, stopped at a rice field where people were working, talked to them and let us try to chop down the rice. They also took us to beautiful waterfalls and let us swim there. In the evening, they taught us some vietnamese and drank rice wine with us and other locals. So if you want to see the real Vietnam, no doubt this is the best way to get to know the country. I definitely come back and next time do whole Vietnam by Easyrider :)
I was asked to write this review in my own language (danish) so sorry for the ones of you who don't understand it. But I can tell you that the vietnam easyrider with Mr.Viet is really good :)
3 Touristen gesehen.
